Howdy Ya'll!
I know its been a while since I have written a blog post. I have been super busy lately, and of course still tired. And then its the end of the school year, so lots of stress and business at work, too. I have lots of appointments and updates to report on today. When we last left off, I was working hard to learn this new way of eating. I have had some successes and some failures. The biggest thing my husband and I were struggling with is Keto Flu. Headaches, muscle cramps, stomach cramps. Ugh, it was awful. We already take magnesium supplements daily. We drink Smart Water or put pinch of sea salt. So I increased the dosage, not too much, but just enough to help get my levels back up. After about a week, I was able to back off the potassium and I am now holding my own without the supplement. Whew! Nothing worse then having a headache and not being able to take anything for it, because I am allergic to NSAIDS.
My journey with PCOS, and Keto living, loosing weight (maybe) and hopefully reclaiming my health. Lets see where this journey leads...
